Back to the Blog

Well, we certainly have been neglecting our blog, haven't we! Today I am at the Technology in the Arts conference. So naturally I thought I should record some of my observations and new insights here.

My first session is Making Wise Information Technology Decisions in an Arts Organization by Alan Levine, Chief Information Officer at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. One of his primary messages is that we tend to think that technology should make us more efficient. True, but what is more important is that our technology choices make our organizations more EFFECTIVE.

More soon!
